  • Weekend REQ: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week period

  • Ratios: 1:2-1:4, based on acuity
  • Floating: traveler will float within scope to meet facility needs
  • Years of experience REQ: 1
  • Specific Experience REQ: CRRT, pre/post cath care
  • Experience Preferred: Swan Ganz, IABP, Impellas
  • First-timers accepted: yes
  • License REQ: SC or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
  • Trauma Level REQ: N/A
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs.
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Unit 5 West is a 23 bed multi-specialty unit. Versatility to serve acute and intermediate level patients.
  • Eight patient rooms adapt to ICU level patients including management of swan Ganz catheters and intra-aortic balloon pumps.
  • Patient population is primarily Heart and Vascular, also home unit for surgical oncology and plastic surgery.
  • Functions as the stepdown unit for the Ashley River Tower offering a higher level of care for the many specialties in this building.
  • Nurse: patient ratios range from 1:2-1:4 based on patient acuity.
  • This team is innovative, dynamic, and fast-paced.
  • Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November.
