Job Description:

• Coverage Needed:
  • November :00am - November :00am
  • One weekend a month
  • Daily Shift: 7am -7pm, Nights: 7pm - 7am, Weekends: 24 hour
  • Clinical Information:
    • Coverage for stroke patients
    • Daily Patient Volume: 20
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Comprehensive Stroke Center
    • 24h interventional stroke call coverage
    • Associated carotid/cerebral stenting as needed during Thrombectomy (facility uses 24/7 TeleSpecialist for acute stroke coverage in ED & RAPID software)
    • No in house requirement for stroke call: will get call/text from neurology or ED physician- interventionalist will discuss case/review imaging and page/call in angio team (
    • Required:
      • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
      • Current Flu Vaccine
      • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
        • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
        • Board Certified
        • Case Logs: need to see 15 thrombectomies in last 12 months or 30 in last 24 months
